ORDERING : 2010 Bare Root Prices will be available in January 2010. Any orders received now will be confirmed in April/May 2010. Minimum order by mail 3 roses.(Bush or Standard). No minimum applies if roses are collected from the nursery. Selected Range of Potted Roses are available all year round direct from our nursery.

Mail : Complete the order form and mail to Mistydowns 2301 Midland Hwy, Creswick Vic 3363 including payment.
Fax : Fax the Completed order form to 03 5345 1200, including Credit Card details or intended method of payment. Please do not mail your order as well as this will risk duplication.
Email : Complete the details on the order form of your selected roses in the shopping cart and email to us direct via a secure service.
Additions : Please advise if you have placed a previous order to prevent a split consignment. We will accept additions to your original order, dependent upon availability. Additions close to dispatch time may have to be treated as a separate order.
PAYMENT : A deposit of 50% is required with the placement of the order. We will send a confirmation by mail if requested by phone or email. Orders without the deposit will not be processed. Final payment is required before the plants can be dispatched.
Note : Orders received on line will have a 50% deposit charged from your Credit Card and balance will be charged on dispatch from our Nursery. If paying by Cheque, a confirmation with balance owing will be sent out prior to dispatch.
If paying by Credit Card, a 50% deposit will be charged to your account upon receiving your order, and balance will be charged on dispatch from our Nursery.
A Tax Invoice will be sent with the plants.
SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS : If you are going to be away for a period of time or if you have any special delivery instructions please mark these clearly on the Order Form.
DISPATCH : Roses will be sent from mid June to the end August. Orders will be filled strictly in order of receipt. All parcels will be sent through Australia Post by reciepted delivery, unless otherwise instructed.
Orders with Standard Roses will be dispatched from mid July please add the appropriate freight.
ORDERS FOR COLLECTION : You may prefer to collect your roses from the Nursery, please indicate this on your Order Form. Please phone at least 24 hours before collection to enable us to have your order ready. Our office hours are 10am to 4pm daily.
PACKING METHODS : All plants are carefully packed and individually labelled for planting convenience and safe transit. Roses are suitably wrapped and sealed to retain moisture and packed in a cardboard carton for posting. Roses travel extremely well and are sent by us throughout Australia. They should remain fresh for at least two weeks whilst in transit. When your plants arrive unpack the parcel immediately and soak the roses in water overnight. When planting do not allow to dry out.

AVAILABILITY : Our range is very extensive and it is difficult to predict in advance our customer's requirements. Occasionally a variety becomes sold out. In case we are unable supply something in your order please list any substitutes that would be suitable. If substitutes are not listed, then we will substitute with our closest replacement. If you do not wish to receive any substitutes please state clearly on your order form NO SUBSTITUTES.
If we are unable to supply part of your order a credit note will be issued if the value is under $15.00 and a Refund will be sent if over $15.00.
Please note our catalogues are produced well before our crop is dug. If plants are not mature or in top order we will withdraw from sale until next year.
QUALITY : Our range of roses is very diverse, from Modern vigorous Hybrids to Old Fashioneds to the very Ancient China and Species Roses. The salable size of certain varieties varies considerably which should be taken into consideration if you ordering different types of roses. Bare rooted rose plants are generally 30 - 40cm long with one, two or three stems. In the first stages of growth many varieties only produce one stem. Every care is taken to ensure only the best quality plants available of each variety are dispatched in your order.
UNDERSTOCK: At Mistydowns all our roses are budded onto virus free understock. We mainly use two varieties: Multiflora and Dr. Heuy. Both understocks thrive in neutral soil with a pH of 6.5 - 7. Extreme soil types may require conditioning.
WARRANTY : We guarantee that all items leaving us are in good order, correctly labelled and carefully packed. We also guarantee excellent service, care and personal attention and we will cheerfully rectify any problem that can be reasonably shown to have occurred at our end. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage after they leave our care or during transit. We give no warranty expressed or implied as to the growth, description, quality or productiveness of the plants after they leave our care, as these factors are governed by forces beyond our control. If you do experience any problems please contact us immediately.
All claims must be received within three months of purchase. Our Nursery Label must be returned with the claim.
FREE ROSE OFFER : For each $120.00 spent on Bush or Climbing Roses you may include an additional rose to the value of $14.00. List three choices or we will substitute a similar rose if your first choice is not available. Your choice/s will be included in your parcel. This may incur additional freight. Refer to freight charges listed above. Standard Roses are not included in this offer.
